Hey Reader, Last week, I gave you an overview of four ways you can sell effectively. The reason I think this is important for everyone to understand is that every business has a point of sale, whether it's a product or a service of some kind. So if you're truly interested in earning an income online, I want you to have the basics nailed down. Today, I’m excited to dig into some valuable strategies on the first of those four ways: building a community around the needs your products fill. Focusing on the broader needs your products address can help you connect with your audience on a deeper level and create a loyal customer base.
Build a Community Around the Need Your Products FillRather than just focusing on the products themselves, creating a community centered around the needs your products address is a powerful approach. Here’s how you can do it effectively: 1. Identify the Core NeedStart by identifying the core need or problem your products solve. For example, if you sell eco-friendly products, the core need might be sustainability and reducing environmental impact. 2. Create Valuable ContentProduce content that resonates with your community’s interests and values. This could include blog posts, videos, podcasts, and social media updates. For instance, share tips on sustainable living, eco-friendly DIY projects, and the benefits of using green products. 3. Foster Engagement Through DiscussionsEncourage open discussions and interactions within your community. Use platforms like social media groups, forums, or your website’s comment section to engage with your audience. Ask questions, share stories, and invite community members to share their experiences and tips. 4. Build Relationships with Real PeopleInstead of posting your offers and then ghosting for weeks at a time while you work on a job, make sure you're showing up and building relationships with people. This doesn't need to look like a constant sales pitch; instead, genuinely get to know your people and learn from each other. 5. Offer Exclusive BenefitsProvide exclusive benefits to your community members. This could include early access to new products, special discounts, and members-only content. Making your community feel valued will encourage loyalty and active participation. 6. Highlight User-Generated ContentEncourage your community members to create and share their own content related to the needs your products fulfill. Feature their stories, reviews, and creative ideas on your platforms. This not only provides social proof but also strengthens the sense of community. 7. Help Your People Get to Know Each OtherWhether you're on social media, publishing content, or growing an email list, it's easy to have back-and-forth conversations with your people. But what really builds a community and helps your cause thrive is helping your followers get to know and support each other. It's not easy, and this is something I'm still working on myself, but I can see the importance of it in terms of long-term sustainability in any niche.
By focusing on the needs your products and services address and creating a supportive community, you'll not only build stronger connections with your audience but also cultivate a sense of belonging and trust that leads to long-term loyalty. Hey Reader, What would you do today if you knew you could start earning up to $350 per hour by next month? Personally, I’d be ready to invest both time and money if I knew that was a real possibility. But here’s the truth: most people won’t. They expect opportunities to fall into their lap, requiring no effort or investment. Businesses just don’t work that way! Over the past 10 years, every business I’ve started has either required countless hours of research, trial and error, or a...
Hey Reader, Have you ever wanted something so badly that you found yourself literally knocking on your head, trying to figure out how to make it happen? I’ve been there. I spent two years working as a debt collector, followed by another year in a slightly less stressful job, before finally saying "no" to the cubicle life. It just never felt fulfilling to me. My dream was to earn enough money from home so I could be there for my kids and truly live life on my terms. After trying multiple...
Hey Reader, We’ve been talking a lot lately about selling techniques and the importance of building a community around the needs our products or services fulfill. Around this time of year, I start thinking about all the fun holidays coming up—Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and more. Buttt, we all know that with each holiday comes some pretty high-ticket prices,...
